July 24th ~ 26th, 2008
This is the 3rd annual Windrider Forum at Colorado Springs, which provides an opportunity for conversations at the intersection of faith and film. This year the theme of the Windrider Forum is "Filmmaking for Social Change".
There is a rich tradition in our country of movements for social change. However, in our media saturated culture, many people have become cynical with the current discussion of these topics and skeptical about the agenda driven spin we hear from leaders in various segments of society.
Many filmmakers have become the prophetic voices in our culture, creating films that do more than simply entertain us. They help us to see our world with a different set of eyes, and inspire us to find ways to make a difference.
Screenings at:
- Kimballs Twin Peak Theater (Thursday)
- Armstrong Theater on the campus of Colorado College (Friday & Saturday)

This year's forum will include:
- 2008 Film Festival Selections
- Thought-Provoking Documentaries
- Award Winning Short Films
- Each film will be followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers and a time for discussion.
